Use of This Website
By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website. Website content, availability, and offerings may change at any time. Nothing on this website creates a binding offer or guarantee of availability.
Changes to These Terms
NextLayer Lab Ltd. may update these terms from time to time. Changes apply going forward and do not change an accepted quote or confirmed project unless agreed in writing.
Quote Requests
Submitting a project request or quote inquiry is not a binding order. All requests are reviewed by NextLayer Lab Ltd. and a formal quote will be provided if the project is feasible and accepted. A quote must be reviewed and accepted before any work begins.
Prices, Materials, and Timelines
Prices, materials, timelines, and feasibility may vary based on the nature, size, complexity, and requirements of your project. All details are subject to review and written confirmation before any production commitment.
Right to Decline
NextLayer Lab Ltd. may decline a project for lawful business reasons, including feasibility, safety, legal, copyright, equipment capability, material limitations, inappropriate content, or unclear ownership of submitted files.
Accuracy of Information
Customers must provide accurate project information including names, spelling, dimensions, artwork, design references, and any relevant details. NextLayer Lab Ltd. is not responsible for errors arising from incorrect, incomplete, or unclear information provided by the customer.
No Guarantee of Replication
Not every idea, broken part, or replacement-style part can be reproduced using 3D printing or laser engraving. We review each request individually and will communicate what may or may not be possible. Replacement-style parts are not guaranteed to match original manufacturer specifications, dimensions, tolerances, or performance.
Use Restrictions
Custom items made by NextLayer Lab Ltd. are not certified for emergency use, safety-critical applications, regulated medical applications, food-contact use, child-safety products, automotive safety, electrical safety, or structural load-bearing applications, unless separately reviewed and agreed upon in writing before production.
Material and Process Limitations
3D printed and laser engraved items have material and process limitations. Color, texture, layer lines, surface finish, engraving tone, wood grain, and finish variation are normal characteristics of custom fabrication. Results may vary between batches, materials, and settings. Materials may react differently to heat, UV exposure, moisture, pressure, chemicals, and outdoor conditions.
Intellectual Property
By submitting names, logos, photos, artwork, designs, or other content to NextLayer Lab Ltd., you confirm that you own the rights to that content or have obtained the necessary permissions to use it for this purpose. NextLayer Lab Ltd. may decline projects involving protected brand names, trademarked logos, copyrighted designs, or content where ownership is unclear.
Design files, CAD files, templates, production methods, and internal process files created by NextLayer Lab Ltd. remain the property of NextLayer Lab Ltd. unless a separate written agreement specifies otherwise.
NextLayer Lab Ltd. may photograph finished products for internal records and portfolio planning. We will not publicly display customer-identifiable personal details, private customer files, or customer logos in marketing materials without permission.
NextLayer Lab Ltd. reserves the right to refuse content that appears unlawful, unsafe, infringing on third-party rights, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate.
Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for confirming all project details, including names, spelling, dimensions, artwork, file quality, and design references, before approving production. The customer is responsible for determining the suitability of any custom item for their intended use.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NextLayer Lab Ltd. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business interruption losses arising from use of this website, project communications, or custom products. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Applicable Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the applicable laws of Canada.
Legal Rights
Nothing in these terms limits any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable Alberta or Canadian law.
