Refund & Cancellation Policy

Made-to-Order Products

All custom products made by NextLayer Lab Ltd. are made-to-order. Because items are produced specifically for each customer, cancellation and refund options may be limited once work has begun.

Cancellations

Cancellation requests may only be possible before design, material purchasing, 3D printing, laser engraving, or other production has started. Contact us as soon as possible at info@nextlayerlab.ca if you need to cancel.

Deposits

Deposits may be non-refundable once work has begun, including design, file preparation, or material sourcing. Specific deposit terms will be confirmed in your project quote.

Production Errors

Refunds or remakes may be considered for clear production errors caused by NextLayer Lab Ltd. Each situation will be reviewed individually. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your item if you believe there is a production error or issue with the completed project.

Customer Errors

Errors in spelling, dates, dimensions, artwork, file quality, or approved design details provided by the customer may not qualify for a free remake or refund. Customers are responsible for confirming all project details before approving production.

Normal Process Variation

Color variation, texture, layer lines, engraving tone, wood grain, burn contrast, and minor process variation are normal characteristics of custom 3D printing and laser engraving. These characteristics do not qualify as production defects.

Shipping and Pickup

Shipping, pickup, and delivery terms will be communicated in the project quote and confirmed before production begins.

Refund Limitations

Because custom products are made-to-order, refunds may be limited once work has started, unless required by applicable law or where a confirmed production error is caused by NextLayer Lab Ltd.

Legal Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable Alberta or Canadian law.
